Our staff of physical and occupational therapists and certified athletic trainers offer comprehensive assessments and treatments for your sports or repetitive-stress injury, fracture, sprain or tendonitis.

Each therapist possesses an unmatched understanding of the science and structure behind the human body. They provide quality care for patients with general orthopedic or sports injuries, as well as work-related or repetitive-stress injuries.

Therapy for Athletes of All Sizes
From youth leagues to professionals, the Sports Medicine program at Gwinnett Medical Center specializes in treating athletes at all levels of competition. Our therapists use various approaches and techniques to effectively return patients to their normal activities.

Our Sports Injury Rehabilitation Includes:

  • Isokinetic testing and rehabilitative unit
  • Underwater treadmill
  • Multiple workout stations
  • McKenzie-certified therapists
  • Emphasis placed on lumbar stabilization, mechanical assessment and treatment

Transitional Fitness and Conditioning Program
Once patients have completed their therapy program, they have the option of continuing to exercise independently in the clinic’s open gym for a small monthly fee. They may also purchase personal-training sessions with one of our exercise physiologists.
