Head Athletic Trainer, Norcross High School

Kristen WilkeyKristen Wilkey earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Southeast Missouri State and her Master of Science degree from Middle Tennessee State. Wilkey is a certified athletic trainer, a certified orthopedic technician and is CPR and AED certified.

As a graduate assistant athletic trainer at MTSU, she gained experience working with the women’s soccer and football programs. Upon graduation she accepted a position with Rehab Associates in Montgomery, Alabama working as the head athletic trainer at Robert E. Lee High School and helping with various programs, such as Alabama Dance Theatre, Gymstars, and was a host athletic trainer for the 2007 SEC gymnastics championships in Little Rock, AK. Working with Rehab Associates she transitioned into the assistant athletic trainer position at Huntingdon College. As the assistant athletic trainer she covered five sports and also served as a professor teaching first aid, CPR, and Introduction to Athletic Training. While In Montgomery, she also served as the head athletic trainer for the National Indoor Football League Montgomery (Ala.) Maulers. Most recently, she was the head athletic trainer at Georgia State University. While helping in a variety of areas in the athletic department, Wilkey was the athletic trainer for the women's basketball team, men's and women's tennis teams, and the cheerleading team.

Wilkey has been with Gwinnett Medical since April 2010 and is currently the head athletic trainer at Norcross High School.
