Kim Winn, MSS, ATC, LAT

ImageKim Winn earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Winthrop University. She obtained a master’s degree in Sports Science from the United States Sports Academy. For eight seasons she served as an athletic trainer in the Arena Football League, earning a championship ring with the Orlando Predators in 1998. Her last three seasons in arena football were in Atlanta with the Georgia Force. She was named trainer of the year for the AFL in 2003 and 2004.

Working as the assistant athletic trainer for the United States Olympic Handball Team, Kim was able to travel the world and experience many cultures and countries. She has also worked at Progressive Health Aviation, where she directly reported to Delta Airlines and helped to develop a unique industrial athletic training program for the airline industry.

Kim has been with Gwinnett Medical Center since 2007. She now serves as the athletic trainer for Johns Creek High School.
