Head Athletic Trainer, Shiloh High School
Cortney Smith earned a Bachelor of Science Education degree in Exercise and Sport Science with an emphasis in Athletic Training from University of Georgia. While there, she worked with the university’s volleyball, football, gymnastics, and swimming and diving teams, as well as the Southeastern Conference Gymnastics Championships. Since graduation, she has worked as a head athletic trainer for high schools in Virigina and Hawaii and gained experience working with the Peninsula Pilots baseball team, the Virginia Duals wrestling team and the Boo Williams Basketball Tournament. Most recently, she was the head athletic trainer at Chaminade University. She joined Gwinnett Medical Center in July 2012 as the head athletic trainer for Shiloh High School.
